The Hobby Center wanted its old website to exit, stage right, but needed a little bit of stage direction. Origin delivered a whole new script (Web script … get it?), and left them with a standing ovation.
When The Hobby Center Foundation wanted to re-cast its website they called Origin to give the new site some character. We took that as our cue to step up to the mark and give a performance that would bring the house down.
Starting with a complete overhaul of the site’s aging ASP.NET framework, we built a content management system that would give The Hobby Center more content control with maximum flexibility. We also gave them a few new props, such as:
- A nifty new animated logo
- A truly “wicked” time-lapsed behind-the-scenes video showing the construction of the set of a certain hit Broadway musical
- A stunning, user-controlled 360° virtual tour of the Hobby Center facilities
- An integration of two different ticketing systems to make ticket buying simple and
- easy for everyone
The result is a website that works against type and delivers a performance of a lifetime.
