Houston—January 16, 2013—Origin’s most recent project for the University of Houston Graphics Alumni Partnership (UHGAP), a 5-year report detailing the organization’s growth and accomplishments since its inception, has been awarded an International Merit Award in the HOW International Design Awards competition.
The piece, entitled “I Am This Many,” will be included in the upcoming March 2013 HOW Annual. Designed by Michelle Coffey, written by Aimee Borders and photographed by Phoebe Rourke-Ghabriel, the report features the work of program alumni and was made possible by the support of the entire Origin team, Origin’s vendor partners—Southwest Precision Printers and O-K Paper—and UHGAP supporters.
“Everyone at Origin is extremely proud to stand behind such an exceptional design program, university and alumni group. Thanks to the faculty of the program, students and alumni, the board and UHGAP members for this opportunity to represent,” said Jim Mousner, Creative Director and Founding Partner of Origin.
The HOW International Design Awards recognize excellence on a global scale. Winners are recognized in the award-winning HOW Magazine, giving readers examples of design innovation on an international scale.
