Houston—July 27, 2009—In one of the most competitive categories in SMPS’s Marketing Communications Awards (MCA), the corporate identity program designed for SpawMaxwell by Origin captured third place nationally.

MCA, the design and building industry’s longest-standing and most prestigious awards program, includes 18 categories and hundreds of entries evaluated by more than 80 jurors. According to MCA Program Chair Kevin Hebblethwaite, the winning entries “will be sent to various locations throughout the year to help educate SMPS members about the marketing trends and innovative tactics that firms are employing during these difficult economic times.”

Origin’s award-winning work for SpawMaxwell reflects its extensive experience within the AEC market, incorporating insights published in Origin’s white paper on qualification packages for architecture, engineering and construction companies.
